Response : Putting resilience to the

test in the COVID-19 crisis

Korea’s response to the COVID-19 crisis was rapid, ef-

fective and positioned its economy to rebound perhaps

more quickly than any other. This session will present

various measures that Korea took during the COVID-19

crisis and highlight a selection of challenges and gover-

nance debates it confronted, under time pressure and

heightened public expectations, to drive a resilience

agenda across government and across society.
