Multi-stakeholder engagement in risk

and crisis management

A whole of society approach is the backbone to de-

livery of effective risk management. This session will

present the results of an OECD survey on the crisis

management roles of youth organisations and young

professionals in Asia during the pandemic response,

and their perceptions of government transparency

and accountability. The speakers will highlight exam-

ples of the capabilities that youth organisations offer

to complement government led efforts to manage the

COVID-19 crisis. Participants will be invited to discuss

how to strengthen the involvement of the whole of

society in risk management policies.
